the architect

From director Filipe Carvalho:
"A story about a veteran Los Angeles architect going insane, slowly disconnecting from the world around him. A love letter to architecture, Eames and 70's era films."

While maintaining a consistent narrative with the music I tried to create a feeling of fracturing. To portray the architect losing his sense of self, I processed the piano and vibraphone through a looper that both distorted the sound and took it out of time with the rest of the music.
