‘Is It About A Bicycle?’ is a large scale installation in Wilton Park, Dublin, Ireland.
Created by Cian McKenna and produced by Algorithm as part of a larger series of installations to recognize the historical significance of the area.
Cian based his piece on “The Third Policemen” by Flann O’Brien. The novel is maybe about a bicycle but it definitely is absurd, surreal, murderous and mysterious.
The music references jazz from the 1940’s, Dada artists like Dalí and Zappa as well as moody films like Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
